DANNY

My dog that I have had since Winter 2015. He will be 13 years old this November (2024). He is a mutt that I adopted from the pound, and theories on what he is mixed with range from Rat Terrier to Corgi. He has gotten me through so much- I first got him when I was in high school and I am now in my 4th year of college with him. He is a snuggle bug and very protective. The night I brought him home, he cuddled with me the entire night on the couch. He loves whipped cream and hates storms. His full name is Danny Wolfgang Amadeus Elfman Green Peterson Esquire.

WHIMPER

A black cat with an iconic squeaky voice and a nub tail. I became the father that stepped up to Whimper and his brother Jupiter in 2018 when I started dating my wife, Michelle. My wife adopted Whimper in 2015 after he was run over by a car as a kitten. The vet told Michelle that it was likely Whimper would never be able to use his back legs again, but she wanted to keep Whimper and give him a second chance at life. Nine years later, he has fully regained his ability to walk and use the bathroom, and he can even feel when you pat his butt! He's our beautiful little miracle shadow.

JUPITER

2015-2024

Jupiter was the sweetest cat anyone could ask for. Michelle found him as a kitten in 2015. He was stuck in a tree during a thunderstorm (yes, really!) and the storm is where he got his name: Jupiter, god of thunder.

He had health problems his entire life, but that didn't stop him from being a very loving boy. He was mischevious and energetic like any orange cat is, but he was also a snuggle bug who loved to give kisses and be held. A true "Sour Patch Cat," first he was sour, then he was sweet. He loved to lay in the sun and lounge on window sills.

He may have been rowdy at times, but Jupiter was the best brother Whimper could have ever had. He cared about Whimper and made sure to groom Whimper regularly. They played frequently, but often got into trouble because they played too rough with each other. Despite their horseplay, they still loved to cuddle.

Jupiter, may you forever rest in Heaven peacefully.
